Ingredients

  • Ausreichende Menge Medjool-Datteln, frisch, prall
  • Ausreichende Menge Ricotta-Käse, gute Qualität, vollfett
  • Unbestimmte Menge Honig (mindestens 1 Esslöffel), gute Qualität
  • Ausreichende Menge gehackte Pistazien
  • Eine winzige Prise Meersalz (optional)

Instructions

  1. Carefully slice each Medjool date lengthwise down one side and remove the pit. Open the date slightly to create a cavity.
  2. In a small bowl, gently stir the ricotta cheese with 1 tablespoon of honey until just combined.
  3. Spoon or pipe about 1-2 teaspoons of the ricotta mixture into the cavity of each date.
  4. Arrange the stuffed dates on a serving platter.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios generously over the top of each ricotta-filled date.
  6. Drizzle the remaining honey over the dates just before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, plump Medjool dates.

Chill the stuffed dates for 15-20 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Consider adding a tiny pinch of sea salt to the ricotta for an enhanced flavor contrast.
