  • 1 medium jicama, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 34 mandarin oranges or 2 navel oranges, peeled and segmented
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (such as Tajín or ancho chili powder)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the diced jicama and citrus segments.
  2. Add the chopped cilantro, fresh lime juice, chili powder, and sea salt to the bowl.
  3. Gently toss all ingredients together until well combined and the jicama and citrus are evenly coated with the dressing and seasonings.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more salt, lime juice, or chili powder to your preference.
  5. Serve immediately or chill for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
